I came in because I felt tooth sensitivity and the Dr. said it’s not an infection so it’s probably just some new fillings that need time to grind down. He ended up taking 5 minutes to grind down those fillings to even my bite (which isn’t what I came in for), and this 5 minute fill shaving was not something covered by my insurance, which I would’ve appreciated them letting me know before doing so, otherwise I would not of let him. I ended up paying $200 for a 5 minute procedure. I get dentists can be expensive, however I did not come in for this, let alone did not fix the pain at all. Initially I wanted to move forward, and learned my lesson to not come back. However now it has been about a week and my teeth feel even more sensitive and I truly feel like I was scammed of $200 for a simple 5 minute shaving. Or just not cared for as a patient both physically and financially. I would not recommend coming here, and if you do please be cautious of the procedures they offer.

Dr Mogharei is amazing! I have an irrational fear of dentists; avoided seeing one for way too long and, of course, ended up with dental issues. When I first went in to see him, I let him know I was nervous about seeing the dentist. Instead of rushing me through the procedures, Dr Mogahrei slowed things down - he spent a good chunk of time to just chat with me until my nerves were calm (fantastic bedside manners)! The procedures were seamless, of course. He’s very good / thorough about explaining all things prior to doing them so there are no surprises. Have seen him a few more times since the first and each time with significantly less anxiety. Can’t thank him enough!

Absolutely adored this office from the second I walked in. As I was checking in Edwin heard I was craving coffee and walked me to the back and made me a lovely coffee that I got to enjoy before my cleaning. He was an absolute sweetheart checking me in and out and made me feel totally at home. My hygienist Ella was also great and informative. Very sweet and made me feel calm. Dr. Patel then came in to do a consult and was an absolute darling. Not once did she try to upsell me. She was gentle and took the time to answer all my questions. Highly, highly recommend. Best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist’s office. Will definitely be coming back!

One of my teeth broke and I called Dr Mogharei’s office for the first time and I was given an appointment immediately. The office was modern, clean and welcoming. One of the hygienist took X-ray of my teeth. Dr Mogharei showed me the the X-rays and took some pictures of my tooth. Then he very clearly explained the corse of actions that should be taken. He also pointed out that the tooth adjacent to the broken tooth could break soon. We agreed to have the work done to both teeth. Then Dr Patel and a hygienist, John, worked on the teeth to perp them for new crowns. The teeth were in the end of my lower jaw and hard to work on. This worked took about 2 hours; and way passed the closing time but Dr Mogharei stayed all the way until the temporary cap was installed. I am Very impressed with Dr M and his staff. I highly recommend this doctor and his staff to anyone.

Six months ago I hired a veteran as the groundskeeper for my property. He had lost most of his teeth in an accident 2 years prior. He was unable to have any solid food and had lost over 90lbs. AVOID THIS DENTIST - SCAMMERS. My partner and I went to this dentist and not only did they charge us both differently for the same services non insurance. They scheduled my partner to come in a week later for "4 very deep cavities". We were quite confused because he has great oral health and was in no mouth pain. We went to get a second opinion. Turns out he has ZERO cavities. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. Avoid at all costs!!!!

Today was my first appointment as a new patient. I truly never write reviews, but I think it’s important that I share how amazing this place was to me, as this level of compassion in healthcare is hard to come by. Long story short, I have a difficult history with healthcare and have gone periods of time being uninsured, so I’ve experienced being on the margins of the US healthcare system. This place and these people felt like a haven in the wake of those past experiences. I would recommend this practice to anyone I love, anyone who feels nervous about dental care, and anyone who would appreciate a hand hold and gentle approach to their care. To be frank, I cried in this office today, and was met with love and embrace. Excellent first visit! The office is top-notch, modern, and beautiful and the dental chairs were very comfortable. All the staff I interacted with (Alexis and Norma) were very friendly and explained everything to me in great detail. Dr. Mogharei was exceedingly easy to talk to and created what I found to be a very fair and reasonable treatment plan, giving priority to my chief complaints. Also, there seems to be no price-gouging here, which is present in many other dental offices. I was able to get a quick appointment and service and communication was very prompt and efficient. Back to the basics as far as routine dental appointments right now. I was really struggling with whether or not to go or postpone my appointment yet again. My teeth were already feeling some neglect, so I decided to go. I was in and out in half and hour, and although the old school scraping is brutal, I was grateful for this opportunity and felt totally safe in there as the only patient. It was only my first visit but it was wonderful. From greeting to checking out I had nothing to complain about. They explained everything in detail so I had no questions to ask at the end. Even though my treatment is going to be a long journey but I was able to understand every little steps and price was listed clearly while I was still in the treatment room. Top quality care and extremely well managed clinic. Dr. Mogharei will take the time to work with you to build a very well thought out and strategic plan around your dental needs. I came here after being advised by another clinic to perform many expensive procedures that it turns out I did not need. Always get a second opinion if you are doubting your current provider. You will probably not find a better clinic or dentist than this one. I’m not a huge fan of going to the dentist and get rather anxious at medical offices. Dr. Mogharei and his team honestly do an amazing job at relieving dental anxiety and making you feel comfortable during every procedure. In the past few months, I’ve gotten a lot of dental work done and am honestly amazed at how painless and quick every visit is. Dr. Mogharei also thoroughly explains every procedure and lets you know what’s going on. His team is both very friendly and efficient as well. The office is new and modern so you don’t feel like you’re actually at the dentist. If you’re looking for a new dentist, have a dental emergency, or anything - I highly recommend making an appointment with Dr. Mogharei. I couldn’t be happier with my dental work or the results.

I broke my two from teeth and I called my regular dentist and they wouldn't have time to see me until a week later. I called Dr. Mogharei's office and they were able to book me an appointment 2 hours later. This office was amazing. Everything can be filled out online, which made the appointment quicker. Not only was Dr. Mogharei able to fix the broken teeth, but they looked better than ever. I highly recommend this doctor and staff.

Going here doesn’t seem that bad at all. My experiences have all been good. I already scheduled my dental cleaning appointments for 2019. 2020 I just went for my end of the year appointment. What I wrote above still holds true today. What I like is that he stays on top of all the latest equipment and procedures for his patients. The office has relocated just 2 floors up from his old office. I have got to say what a beautiful space to come in for appointments and I am sure they all are happy to be in their new state of the art location. I started going to them about 10 years ago, however I have not seen them in 5 years due to insurance changes. However, my first impression of them remains the same...they don’t push to get extra work done that is cosmetic. I’m always wary of that in LA and felt that way about my previous dentist. This is a big city where cosmetic surgery is the norm and while to each his own, I don’t want to be pushed into it. I am not judgemental of others, I just don’t want to be pressured. They are very professional and, I feel, trustworthy. Glad I came back after 5 years. Now, if the staff could do what the previous one did and have a set up where we can soak our hands as if we are getting manis before getting dental work that would be awesome (but not a requirement - lol).

Everyone in the office is incredibly friendly and kind. Dr. Mogharei has an empathetic approach and incredible skill both with routine dental work and cosmetic aspects-- I honestly would choose to fly back here for work if I ever moved! As someone who is anxious about her teeth, I feel put at ease by the entire staff, and not feeling super embarrassed is a really nice change when I've always been upset over my teeth. Great experience and clean, efficient office. The doctor is nice and cordial has a cool aesthetic of sailboats and ocean videos playing. However, I got the teeth whitening, and after spending $500 I could barely tell the difference. Then, the woman at the front desk was really trying to upsell me on the $50 take home package, which I had to decline three times before she stopped. Also they don’t validate parking so I was hit with $15 on the way out of the lot for their bundling. Left feeling like I just wasted $515 and two hours out of my workday.

I can’t say enough about Ali and his staff. My 95 year old Mother had been having some pain for a few days. I called and Esmeralda was so accommodating she was able to get us in the next day. When we arrived there was some confusion with my Mom’s insurance and Daisy made every effort to get things straight. And Dr. Mogharei was just wonderful to my Mom. Dealing with a 95 year old who’s in pain is not easy . But Ali made her at ease and took care of the problem quickly and painlessly. I couldn’t be happier about my experience here. Everyone is so caring and great at their jobs.

I had been referred by a friend who had been going to Ali Mogharei for many years. I was having issues with my teeth after I had gone to my regular dentist. After revisiting my other dentist about my concern I decided to see another dentist, in case my dentist missed something. They were able to schedule me in the very next day I called! When I got the office it was a few minutes that I waited before they called me in, and shortly there after Dr. Mogharei came in to talk to me. All I can say is that he was extremely meticulous in the exam and looked at every possible reason for my discomfort and although I didn’t get an answer for my discomfort I was quite impressed with his concern and the time he took with me. Even though his office is out of my way I will definitely continue with him for my dental needs and I'm confident that he’ll figure out what’s my sensitivity from my teeth is coming from, and resolve it.

Everyone at the office is so great. I've never been treated with such compassion in the dental industry. The staff have inspired me to do better with my oral health! I went in for the first time after 2 1/2 years without a visit to the dental health and harbored a lot of shame about my teeth, but I was received with such care and can only feel an immense gratitude to the staff. By far the best dentist I’ve had. My wife and I love this office, and have been coming here for 4+ years, and don’t plan on changing dentists anytime soon. Dr Mogharei and his staff are super professional & make me and my wife feel welcome each and every time I go in. They do a great job of talking you through what they’re doing, especially Dr Mogharei. Most dentists I’ve been to in the past are very impersonal and not transparent. I don’t have to worry about Dr M upselling me on stuff I don’t need, which is rare in my opinion. Great dental experience. I came 20min early to fill out my new patient information and was greeted with smiles. My appointment started on time which was a plus for me. The dental assistant that took my X-rays was friendly, well educated, and very helpful. She really made my dental treatment and the entire appointment comfortable and fun. My dental cleaning was comparable to a spa treatment. The Hygenist made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. She was very professional and made my teeth feel squeaky clean. Dr. Mogharei was very patient and explained to me my entire dental treatment , gave multiple options and considered my concerns. I’m not a first visit win with my health providers but this office was a home run . I’m moving forward with the Dr’s recommendations and can’t wait for my next visit!

I’ve been in to Dr. Mogharei’s office twice now, and and have been really impressed both times. The receptionists are friendly and offer you something to drink when you arrive, and both the hygienist and Dr. Mogharei were thorough and informative. My first visit was a cleaning/exam, and the second was to replace some old fillings. What I love about this dental office is that they take the things people really hate about going to a dentist and solved them. Instead of having to listen to loud drilling sounds, they offer you headphones and music. While your mouth is being stretched open for drilling, they put vaseline around your lips so they don’t dry out and crack painfully. They move quickly, but also tell you what’s happening each step of the way so that you’re not left wondering what’s going on or how much longer. Really happy to have found this place!

He is very knowledgeable, thorough and professional. He's also referred me to an oral surgeon and orthodontist who are equally knowledgeable and professional. His team of office administrators and oral hygienists explain the steps to whatever process I'm going through. My oral health is extremely important to me! I normally don’t write reviews unless is really bad or exceptional. This dentist is exceptional. I’ve been going to dentists since I was a little kid as I’m not blessed w great teeth. What is so amazing about Dr Mogharei is that he’s like an artist!! His hands are so light. You will never feel the injection which is the most painful part of the process. Ive never met a more gentle dentist. Most doctors and dentists are businessmen these days so when you meet a dentists that doesn’t want to rip you off and genuinely is there to help you, we should celebrate that doctor. We need more dentist him.

The dental services are of average or above average quality. However, my problem is with their billing practices. I received a bill more than three years after last seeing the dentist. The bill did not specify what I was being billed for and threatened to send it to collections, despite that it was the first time I ever received a bill. When calling in, I was told that the dentist was conducting an "audit" and as a result is sending out bills for as far back as five years ago. Whoever answered the phone was unapologetic and seemed to think that was an acceptable and typical billing practice.

I'm an active athletic person. I get hit a lot. I came to these guys with a cracked root on my number nine that was going south fast. It had already been root canaled and crowned countless times over from other dentists. It was getting infected and time for it to come out. Ali handled my extraction, recovery and implant in addition to all the temporaries that i either lost, spit out accidentally (surfing) or threw in the trash compactor (don't ask). We did my entire front grille. I'm more than happy with the results. I've got a natural healthy smile now and, although I didn't mind missing a front tooth, I have to admit that it makes a better first impression - especially in this town. Thanks, dude. Myself and my friends who have to be seen in public with me thank you.

I have a hectic schedule and they work around my schedule which I greatly appreciate. Practically everyone at my company goes to this dentist bc word spread on just how good they are!! Parking is convenient. There is street parking and a parking lot in the back. I've never had to wait longer than 5 min in the lobby (thank you!!)
