I don't understand what the deal is with dental offices in flower mound but let's start by saying: it should NEVER take 2 hours for a cleaning and x-rays. Secondly, when a patient knows more about their insurance than the billing department there is a serious problem. I would not recommend this place at all

This place continues to be the best of the best in every way. Dr. Bellingham and Dr. Hoopers work is always done right the first time. All the staff members namely, Whitney, Rachel, Julie, Daria, Lay and Dipali are extremely upbeat and friendly! Always greeting you with a smile. I've been to a lot of dentists over the years but this place is by far the best I have found. There' are a lot of choices around Flower Mound but I wouldn't go anywhere else! They are the best in every way!

This is not a place that I can recommend for anyone. After my initial consultation, I walked out without any cleaning and a $4,000 "plan". I just moved here and wanted to continue my 6 month cleanings that I have had for the last 20+ years. I've never had the feedback or suggestions this doctor made before, but he was so convincing I went against my better judgement. I knew I should have had a second opinion. I had (what he said were) two cavities filled last week. I have never had pain in my mouth and now have had pain in my teeth and jaw for the last week. I am going to a new dentist this week to hopefully get out of this situation with minimal long term damage. I can't believe I let myself fall for this with such a lasting impact. Please pay attention to the YELP reviews, I should have. The front desk staff is all about the cash and procedures. The one positive experience was with the hygienist who was super friendly. She should work somewhere else. Please, please pay attention to the warnings on all of the review sites. I truly made a mistake that I hope doesn't stay with me forever.

I had my wisdom teeth distracted, and it was a horrible experience. Spent there about 3 hours, because dr.was performing exams to several other clients at the same time. All the time I was with the mask and gas waiting for him. Also, still can’t get the refund from them for the overpayment. They sent checks twice to my old address, though I provided a new one, twice:)

My wife went to Dr Hooper after her last dentist moved. She is very particular and does everything for her teeth to make sure they are always clean and taken care of. She went and saw Dr Hooper and he was very insensitive and made her feel that she didn't take care of her teeth at all. He also found so called 6 cavities. Even when she returned for treatment plan they really didn't care felt they just wanted the money. She got a check up and cleaning with a new dentist and he said her tooth and gums were amazing but that there was 2 small cavities. I would never recommend Dr Hooper. I truly don't think he cares as my wife already has anxiety when it comes to dentist and he made everything worse by the way he talked to her. She will be staying with the new dentist ahe found as he cares and is very professional and thorough.

I've been a patient here for over 15 years and have seen their dentists change until Dr. Hooper finally arrived and stayed. For years, their office staff has been wonderful, but in the past few years, their office staff's service has declined. Sarah, in particular, will say she will look into your issue and call you back, but never does. Then, when you follow-up with her, she makes excuses as to why she never returned your call. They used to have excellent staff working there, but it has gone downhill in recent years. As a long-time patient, it is sad that I have to find another dentist whose staff actually cares about their patients.

Very friendly staff, they have gone out of their way to meet my needs since I commute an hour to them and have even emailed me to give me more information and details that I need to know! Everyone’s so nice and helpful. Dr. Hooper is definitely super helpful and always understanding. Seems like he knows exactly what I want out of my Invisalign!

I had a surprisingly quick cleaning with Flowermound Dental (I guess I was flossing and brushing better...lol). I was about to start their Whitening treatment, but their pump that sucks out stuff went down, so I had to reschedule this treatment. But otherwise, they're a great Dentist otherwise! I got my invisilign teeth straighten treatment through them, which helped me straighten out my teeth.

So far, my experience here has been pleasant. I came to look into Invisalign. The staff is very friendly and they’re one of few places in flower mound to offer Invisalign. The office is very nice and upscale and even though today is my first visit, i can’t imagine any future problems with them. Definitely recommend!

I drove from OKC,OK. To have Dr Hooper extract a problem tooth. I tried a dentist in OKC, but after rounds of shots they could not extract my tooth. But when I came to Dr Hooper he gave me 3 shots and had my tooth pulled in seconds. His professionalism was more than expected. I didn't even feel the pressure of the tooth being pulled. It may be a 3 hour drive but it's well worth the drive. And his team made my experience a pleasant one. Hard to say when your going to a dentist. But I highly recommend Dr Hooper. Thank you Dr Hooper!!!

Went in for a cleaning and after a short consultation Dr.hooper recommended about 7000 dollars worth of work that was required and the lady at the front asked me to sing the treatment plan and she said it only ment that she went over it with me after reading it she was trying to get me to sing that I was responsible for the balance no matter what. Went to a second dentist that told me I needed no where near that amount of work. This doctor and office is much more concerned with there bottem line and financials then your overall health.

Flower Mound Dental provided me with quality dental work. Dr. Hooper is personable and communicative. For instance, I asked him to explain the specific procedures that he was doing and he did so thoroughly. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and eager to help. (Disclaimer: Yes, I received a $10 Starbucks gift for this review. However, that's a reasonable business practice in this day and age of the Internet. I would have left a glowing review regardless of the latte discount.) Flower Mound Dental, in addition, accepts military dental insurance, which not everybody accepts. I haven't had any billing issues or concerns with their office. Quality dental work, friendly people, no insurance problems. Overall: A+

I have pretty intense anxiety about dental visits, so when a filling fell out of one of my teeth yesterday I was very nervous about having it fixed. I called at 7am this morning, and a couple of hours later I was already in the chair getting extensive work done. I am very thankful that the staff was able to work me in with no notice and they did a fantastic job. Everyone was very nice, and Dr. Hooper was great to work with. I had bad experience with a dentist awhile back and stopped going to any dentist. Knowing I needed extensive work done on my teeth I chose Dr. Hooper's office. I have made the best choice. I always hate going to the dentist due to fear and pain but they answered all questions I had and explained what was going to occur. I had to wait 17 minutes to be seen but other than that they were great while working on me! They always answer my questions and make me feel comfortable!

I found Flower Mound Dental through our insurance. We scheduled an appointment for husband due to severe abcess. They performed an exam and advised my husband needed am immediate root canal and tooth extraction. They prescribed pain medication and antibiotics because we wanted to discuss the procedure and options with the intent to return later. However, the pain began to get worse. I called them back within a couple days after the first visit asking (actually yelling) that they call in a stronger prescription to the pharmacy. As a patient sometimes you don't want to hear about the best long term solution which is ultimately better for you. You're looking for the quick fix which will eventually lead you back to square one where you have to get the permanent fix anyway. They performed the root canal and wisdom tooth extraction. I would definitely recommend Flower Mound Dental. I would have to give the staff 5 stars because the excellent customer service they demonstrated.. These type of procedures are probably never the easiest. You have the patient that's in pain and the family member (me) that's upset because their loved one is pain which is stressful for everyone. They were patient and very empathetic. Dee (Office Mgr) is awesome! Dr. Hooper was very patient and kind. They are really concerned about your health. If your looking for a dentist in the Flower Mound, Lewisville, Highland Village area definitely give these guys a try.

I spoke with this office twice, the first time with a front office member and the second with the office manager. Both interactions were unsatisfactory as both members were rude over the phone. I hope they are not treating their patients this way. Phone etiquette is something this office needs to work on.

I hate going to the dentist and will put it off too long which I did again. FMD did great getting me caught up. While I will not be looking forward to my next appointment (did I mention that I really hate going to the dentist) I will be returning to FMD as scheduled.(yes you will get the floss lecture if you don't).

As everyone knows going to the dentist can be a nerve wrecking time for anyone. When we walked into the office at Flower Mound Dental we were instantly sounded by a zen environment with neutral colors and a vivid flower blooming display on the TV. The staff was really friendly when signing in. While we waited there are two comfortable couches and two wing back chairs for us to sit until we were called back. It wasn't very long until we were taken to get x-rays done. It was awesome to see the digital x-rays pop up, it really helps cut the waiting time. We were taken straight back to the treatment room which had a convenient waiting chair for me as I waited for my husband to get his work done. Dr. Hooper came in and was just as nice and friendly faced as the rest of the staff. He did his exam and suggested we have some teeth pulled because of the decay and infection. He actually made time the same day to pull the 11 teeth. Any other place we would have had to make an appointment for another time. I really appreciated the prompt service and his caring attitude. We were in and out and my husband got his teeth taken care of the same day. My overall experience here was awesome. Much better than going to the "franchise" dentist that just seems so impersonal. Definitely going back

I recently moved out to the Flower Mound area and was looking for a new dentist near me. My colleague referred me to Dr. Hooper as he had told me about his experience. I can personally say that it has been the best dental experience I had in a very long time. Appointment times are honored and is spot on. You'll most likely get called in within a few minutes after coming in. The office is extremely clean and the equipment looks new with the latest dental technology. I've never seen an x-ray machine that rotates around the head. I had a deep clean, 11 fillings, and a brand new crown replaced. Overall, I had a pleasant experience here and will continue coming here as long as I am living in the Flower Mound area. The staff team is top notch and I highly recommend Dr. Hooper for all your dental care needs.

I highly recommend this dental office. The staff is awesome and Dr. Hooper is great. He is very detailed oriented and wants to make sure the job was done right. I had to have a crown installed and this was my first visit to the office. Crown is perfect and We have found our new dentist office.

I don't usually write reviews, but Dr. Hooper is great! I was with the dentist who worked at the practice before Dr. Hooper bought it, and I had a few terrible experiences. I had cavities filled incorrectly and they had to be redone, and I never felt comfortable going to the office. I was about to switch and I learned it had been bought out, so I went back again. Dr. Hooper is the best dentist I've ever had - he's kind, gentle and knows exactly what he's doing. I'm not switching anymore!

I want to thank Dr Hooper for taking care of my wife. After an absolutely awful experience at 6 Day Dental in which my wife was still in gripping pain 7 days prior to an extraction (they'll get my review on a different form), we came to see this practice out of emergency. They took care of my wife immediately and helped her. After our visit to him, my wife is already feeling better this evening. The dr even came back up to the practice after hours to help make sure she got the proper medication as well. We will be going back in the future as we have just moved to the area. Thank you so much for taking the time and extra energy to help my wife.

This is my son's practice but considering my recent dental problem I want to write a review. I live in NY and I had very serious sensitivity issues with my teeth for the past ten years. On top of that I broke my molar ,so I flew to Texas to see my son, Dr. Brandon Hooper . This was my first experience with my son being my dentist. I was very impressed by his professionalism, skill and expert quality of work. The team was also top notch and professional and pleasant. I needed to get crowns a deep cleaning (Thank you Amber) and a lot of fillings. It's been three weeks now since my son worked on my teeth. . The molar and all my teeth are great with the sensitivity issue nearly gone. Thank you too the whole team! Of course I'm a proud Dad!

I would say I loved it but going to the dentist is never my favorite no matter who the dentist is. All in all this is a good place to go. Recently, I chipped a tooth and they got me in and put a temp crown on and then put the permanent one on. I then had my teeth cleaned and hopefully good to go until my next cleaning. Thanks, "Larry"....my name is David but the dentist called me Larry which I found funny.

I am not a very consistent dentist goer (maybe once every other year). But I had a check up from Dr. Hooper and was very pleased with my visit. I have had really sensitive areas on some of my teeth for a few years now so he did a few x-rays (and even showed me the mechanics of the x-ray machine because I was curious) and informed me of some trouble areas that I have due to grinding my teeth. He made some molds of my teeth for a mouth piece and showed professionalism and skill. He's a guy who has been trained very well at dentistry and knows what he's doing. You can tell from conversations with him that he is very passionate about his work. I would trust him with my teeth any time and highly recommend Flower Mound Dental Associates. I know they are undergoing some remodeling but I am looking forward to the facelift the business is getting.

I continue coming to Flower Mound Dental as they are awesome. Daria (sp?) Assisted me today as I needed to get a crown replaced. She explained everything she was doing. Dr. Bellingham was great too! I let him know ahead of time I will be closing my eyes as I did not want to see the needle. Lol. I'm pretty sure I shed a tear. I was not in pain, but it's a mental thing for me. They kept me at ease. Entire office is nice, respectful, and friendly.

I have used Flower Mound Dental for quite a few years and have been pleased with the service. Amber is my hygienist and she always does an excellent job of cleaning my teeth. Dr. Brandon Hooper has recently bought the practice. He has checked my teeth, but I have not needed any dental work since he bought the practice. His comments in the review section make me think that he is committed to giving the best service possible at Flower Mound Dental. I think the main problem with the practice is that it has changed hands several times causing an inconsistency with staff. I believe that Dr. Hooper will work hard to change the perception of FM Dental.

First of all, I have been getting my teeth cleaned by Amber for the last two years. She does an amazing job and is as sweet as can be! All the staff I have interacted with have been friendly and professional. But what sealed the deal for me was the service I got this week. I will forever be a Flower Mound Dental patient! I had been having troubles with my upper wisdom teeth (which I had x-rayed at a prior visit). I woke up on Monday morning in pain and was hopeful it would go away. I called my dentist Tuesday morning at 10am and Dr. Hooper removed them at 1pm the same day. I'm so thankful he was willing to fit me in and he truly did amazing work. I'm happy Dr. Hooper bought this practice and am willing to make the drive to ensure top rate service for my pearly whites.

The dentist said I needed a root canal and crown. Sent me off to specialist for root canal and then back to them for crown. I spent over $1000 out of pocket for crown and services not including the root canal. My crown started getting loose this week. Could not get in touch with anyone at the office. I went by office today and there were ladders etc. in building but not a sign on door that said closed. I had to go to another dentist and discovered that I had a cavity up in the tooth and the tooth had to be pulled. This should not have happened and I should not have lost a tooth. I am investigating my options now.

I've been going here (twice per year) for 5 years. I have no major issues with my teeth, so it's general cleaning and gum inspection, and yearly x-rays. I've had cleanings from 2 or 3 different techs, but mostly the same lady. Everyone is personable. No more cleaning discomfort than anywhere else I'd experienced. The dentist who inspects once a year has very little to inspect (a baby tooth, slightly receded gums). It's been pretty consistent care, even with the changes. New equipment shows up every couple of years, but the whole office is pretty unchanged. It's not Highland Park bling, but it's clean, well lit, and comfortable. The reception/checkout staff is nice. I get responses to emails, and they can email my X-Ray info to me. If I show up a few minutes early or late, I never have to wait. When it was out-of-pocket, the direct pay rate was fine. I use Delta Dental now, and claims processing is about 45 days. I get a notice around 30 days showing the adjustments and pending payments, but I never get a 60-day notice. Everyone has different experiences, but I'm happy to report that mine are pretty consistently positive.

I had my bottom front teeth re-crowned because they were old and had starting to come loose all the time. Dr. Nichols did I six for me and did an excellent job. All six matched the rest of my teeth perfectly.

My family all went to this office for several years. Over that extended time, we rarely saw the same dentist twice. I have severe pain in several of my teeth, but was told there was no way they could hurt because they were root canaled. I finally switched dentists, only to find out the root canals have failed, the teeth are infected and I have to have them pulled. This office is a corporation only interested in money and the dentists are all very inexperienced.

I called to get the cost of a cleaning. They lady on the phone was friendly but not very forthcoming with the costs. I had to ask three times and still couldn't get a straight answer. They said the cleaning is $80 but tried to hide the fact that there is a required doctor fee which I found out was $60 on the third time I asked. They also said at first they "require" x'rays since it's been more than 3 years since I've had any. Then the work changed to recommend. Then they said I could sign something saying I don't want xrays. Ugh. Just be more straight forward. It shouldn't be so hard to get my teeth cleaned. I decided not to go here.

9/2/16: I just received a bill for a "missed appointment" -- for an appointment I never made! I called to see if they had a same-day appointment for an emergency; when they said they could not see me until the next day, I declined to make an appointment. Fast forward three weeks and they are charging me for an appointment that THEY erroneously made. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE -- THEY COMMIT FRAUD. ======================================== Their billing department is completely worthless. I still have a claim open, over two years after service. Beware.
