Dr. Patel, his wonderful team has changed my life, my smile, my gums and saved my teeth. I was told I would have to extract my teeth and get implants, it was the worst news I have ever received. I came across a procedure called LANAP, found Dr. Patel’s office, the biggest blessing truly heaven sent. I went into the office where everyone is so nice, caring, very attentive, and they treat you like family. I got my procedure done and everything went well. 2 years later, my gums are so healthy, my teeth are so strong no extractions needed if you or anyone you know is going through this please don’t wait, I would totally recommend LANAP, it has truly changed my life!!!

I had read the all the bios.of all the doctors before I went in. I was amazed at the amount of training, accolades and awards they had received in getting their training. Each one is the best in their field. They work hard in making sure you get all your questions answered in an unrushed manner. They also provide things like Nitros Oxide (laughing gas)? and bite blocks, without you even having to ask, making the whole experience very relaxing. I even fell asleep when I was being worked on. ? The sweetest staff I have ever met. They were able to extract my son's tooth the same day as his initial visit. More importantly, Dr. Mikhail is very sweet and informative and available 24/7 for questions or concerns. How awesome is that. Honestly, Chick-fil-A is a distant 2nd in customer service compared to this office.

I have really bad anxiety at the dentist and when I say bad, I mean bad ! First time I went,I was a mess but second time I had Lanap surgery. Dr Patel, takes his time explaining everything. What can I say? We don’t put “go to the dentist,” on our bucket list. Ha. I’m not saying put a visit to Root Peridontal on your list, but if you have to hanit just doesn’t get better than Root. Everyone there is so cheerful, professional, and efficient. Dr. Sheppard is very gentle and sweet, and her work has been the best in my 64 years of dental visits. In fact I grew up in a family of doctors and dentists in Tennessee. My second cousin was like an Uncle and a great dentist in growing up, and another an orthodontist. I needed gum surgery and Dr. Patel was very through in explaining what to expect. His staff is very knowledgeable and kind, answering all of my questions. The procedure was super fast and I felt some minor discomfort the first day but great after that. A week later, my gum was healed and I was good to go. Outstanding! I love Dr. Patel and his entire staff! They are friendly and happy and helpful. I needed a device for my teeth that I could not afford and Dr. Patel made it for me anyway. He helped me with an implant that I needed during the year of Covid. He was thoughtful and considerate and very easy to work with. All of my appointments were very quick and efficient. I was able to get a hold of the office staff easily anytime I needed them. I’m done with my procedure now. I had my final check up today, and I feel a little bit sad that I won’t see these great people for another year.

This was a great experience. Dr. Amit Patel was so kind and did a fantastic job on diagnosing a hairline fracture in a tooth and with the extraction! He was caring and had a great ‘bedside manner’. Dr Patel is amazing! The entire office staff has been very supportive. I was told by another dentist that implants would be almost impossible due to my jaw opening being so restricted. Dr Patel took on the challenge and was able to place two implants giving me great chewing motion again.

My dentist referred me to a periodontal specialist for evaluation of receding gums. She gave me a list of four specialists and I called each one to get an estimate of initial cost. Root Periodontal offered a complimentary evaluation, and I was able to get an appointment in a timely fashion. I saw Dr. Laura Rabe, and she was fantastic! She performed a complete exam and was thorough, professional, and honest. She did not recommend any interventions at this time; rather, she recommended a yearly monitoring appointment. Dr. Patel also discussed the plan of care with me. Niki Shepard, dental assistant, and Marisol and Lindsay at the front desk were all so professional and friendly. I cannot overstate how much I appreciate everyone at this practice, and I give them my highest recommendation!

I was referred to him for my 1st gum-graft......Dr Patel provided detailed information about the procedure, answered my questions( very patient with ALL my questions...lol). and ensured I was comfortable before proceeding with the treatment. During the procedure he let me know what he was doing the entire time (of which I asked), As I am a very detailed person & want to know what’s going on. Dr. Rabe is wonderful! She performed a gum graft on me in August and I just had my final consultation with her today. Every interaction with Dr. Rabe and her staff from the initial consult to the surgery, to follow up visits have been wonderful. Both she and the staff are so friendly and helpful. A few days before my scheduled surgery, I wanted to have her look at the area again just to ease my nerves and make sure surgery was absolutely necessary. They squeezed me in that same day. I had to bring my 3 small kids with me, and Dr. Rabe and her nurse even took turns holding my baby so that they could look at the area! The surgery itself went very smoothly and everything has healed perfectly. Dr. Rabe followed up with me via phone call after the surgery to make sure I was feeling ok and answer any questions I had. Having dental surgery is never a fun experience, but Dr. Rabe and her staff made the experience as great as it possibly could be. I would absolutely recommend them and would visit them again should the need ever arise!

Dr. Patel and all his staff are amazing. Let's start by the fact i got stuck in traffic and i had an early appointment and called that i was running late and they were very understanding. I walk into the building and theres a board that says welcome to the root family Dulce G! That automatically makes you feel special. Everyone was so understanding. They asked you questions about what you don't like about your smile which helps them understand what you are looking to get done. They are very nice and straight forward which i love ! They put music in my procedure so I wouldn't feel so nervous and it helped alot . Really recommend him!

My daughter needed an implant due to being born with a missing tooth. Dr. Patel was outstanding. Not only was I completely confident in his ability to manage her case, he was personable and compassionate. My daughter would tell you that he has been her favorite doctor that she has ever seen. The ENTIRE staff was extremely professional yet still very friendly and caring. It's RARE to go to a doctor/dentist appointment and be greeted (on the board outside the office) before you even stepped in. Everyone that I interacted with (from front desk to x-ray technician to the dental hygienist and of course Dr Patel himself) addressed me by my name. Every service performed was pleasant and prompt. Dr Patel not only is a perfectionist with extremely high work ethics but also has great chairside manner (you don't normally see both...). Prior to coming I was a little skeptical about those 5-star reviews. However after my experience there, I truly believe they are absolutely accurate and very well deserved!

Not did he just complete her surgery, he followed up with her and then again while she was out of the country. One of the most patient focused medical practices I have experienced. The welcome you receive as a new patient, the thorough overview of the practice, the staff, and procedure on the initial visit, the care and attention to detail during the scheduled procedure, and follow up afterwards are topnotch. The support staff I interacted with including Kim, Heather, Maria, Neha and others were all warm and attentive whether explaining the process I would be going through or helping with scheduling appointments or providing clarity on insurance questions. Another observation based on the amount of time different staff spent with me is Dr. Patel's practice does not seem to over schedule appointments. I felt like I was their primary focus during my time in the office. Highly recommend this practice.

When it comes to teeth and gums, I am a big chicken. I am terrified the moment I sit in the dental chair. When I needed some gum and bone work on my teeth, my dentist introduced me to ROOT. Upon my first visit, they put me at ease with their caring attitude, professional staff, and I love Dr Amit Patel! He has a great sense of humor and very competent. Dr Patel and his staff are all wonderful! Dr Patel performed periodontal surgery on my teenage daughter, and when the results were not as good as he wanted (through no fault of his own), he offered to do a different technique for free! He is extremely concerned with making sure each patient is 100% happy with their results, and always goes above and beyond to ensure the best outcome possible.

I came in with my two toddlers, obviously nervous because #1 I had small children with me at my appointment and #2 I hate dentists/anything like it. Judy Baker is by far the best, most thorough hygienist I have ever experienced. She is amazing and personable throughout the process. Dr Patel was a absolute life saver! Got my surgery implant all done perfectly in the short time that I had to get it done in! After the billion horrible experiences with surgery that I read about, I was petrified of my surgery, but Dr Patel was great, also made sure I got calls from the office checking my make sure I was doing okay! Great experience! Extremely helpful to work around work schedules as well! Highly recommended!

I apologize in advance for the length of this review but it must be said. Dr. Patel is a fantastic doctor. He is very down to earth, a great teacher and extremely efficient and talented. I had severe gum recession and Dr. Patel was very honest and detailed about the cause and what I could expect from grafts. The procedure was very quick and his staff made me so comfortable. The evening after my procedure I received a personal phone call from Dr. Patel to check on me. I felt very special and cared for. I had NO pain after the procedure, lots of throbbing but Dr. Patel explained why throbbing was good and put me at ease and I found myself blessed to have throbbing. My procedure went great and am I so pleased with the results. I have health issues that make healing in my mouth difficult and Dr. Patel followed me closely and my grafts went off without a hitch! Thank You Thank You Dr. Patel. Now I need to address his staff because they are a huge part of Dr. Patel's success too. They are efficient, kind and you can tell they love working for Dr. Patel. Behind every good man is a team of good women who shine a light on Dr. Patel and support his genius. I would recommend this practice to anyone who may be apprehensive about gum surgery. You will get an honest answer and will be cared for in the most professional way. I am not Dr. Patel's mother and I am not related to anyone in this practice. I simply was treated fantastic, had wonderful results and felt I should share Dr. Patel with anyone looking for help.

Dr. Patel and staff are awesome – brilliant, ebullient, masterful, savvy and concerned with the patient’s well-being. I would give ten out of ten stars if I could. They operated on my gums and everything went magnificently. I am beyond happy, ready for Hollywood. I can't recommend Dr. Patel and team highly enough. The Dallas area is lucky to have them.

Terrific experience. I would recommend Dr. Patel to anyone. I believe he saved me ALOT of money by taking a conservative approach to a problem I was having. Have been to his office 4 times and am treated beautifully each time. Great staff.

I would recommend Dr Patel for many reasons, but bottom line is he fixed what was messed up by someone else. He did it in such a manner that he gave me more respect for the dentist I was so upset with for needing a bone graph done. He is a great person to work with and I truly do trust him based on his work and his character.

Dr. Patel and his staff are totally awesome!!! Each employee i was fortunate enough to encounter was extremely warm, and friendly! Also, i MUST add that the receptionists were extremely sweet and organized! I definitely knew i was in good hands after the initial consultation! I had an implant done yesterday and I currently feel fantastic and pretty much pain free. My experience thus far, has been excellent. If you need nay periodontal work done, i would highly recommend Dr. Patel!!
