Day two after surgery (pulling teeth, inserting 8 dental implants, and bone grafting where needed). No pain, no nausea, no swelling, no bruising. My temporary one-on-four arches are amazing. Can't wait to see what the permanent lifetime ones look like. Just as I wanted: not too white, no yellow tint, look natural, even down to my pointy canines. I'm heading into the 48-hour-pain peak, but the meds have been working so far. I have been in bed, mostly sleeping, catching up on streaming, but also sitting up at my computer for a few hours. Dr. Vickers and his staff are amazing. I wrote one check and never need my wallet for follow-up visits. Direct phone calls to get my questions answered from the right person. Highly recommend.

I had Dr. Chan as my oral surgeon for getting my wisdom teeth removed. Last week I was in some discomfort and was referred to this placed by my regular dentist and they were able to get me in same day for a consultation. Jessica was my dental assistant (?) sorry if I get the title wrong, but she was amazing, very kind and understanding. Dr.Chan went over my x-rays with me and prescribed me an antibiotic to help me be comfortable throughout the weekend where I had planned on getting them extracted the following Wednesday. Also a quick shout out to Dee who was my treatment coordinator and was very sweet! Monday morning I decided I needed to just get it done due to having discomfort with them and they were able to get me in same day for my extraction. The team was excellent with moving quick so my anxiety couldn’t take over as I was a nervous wreck, while also giving me space to ask all my questions and work with what I was comfortable with. The surgery went extremely well, I had hyped myself up for something that ended up being very nice and smooth and all my family was shocked with how quick and seamless everything went. Dr. Chan really knew what he was doing and his skills have lead to me having a comfortable recovery so far. I’m on the second day as of right now and am following all directions and am so much more comfortable than I imagined I would be! 10/10 experience for sure!

I first met Dr. Vickers when I was about 15 years old for a consultation about getting an implant. All other oral surgeons we had previously met with said that an implant was impossible for me, that there wasn’t enough space or enough bone, and that a bridge was the best long term treatment option for me. Dr. Vickers made it happen. Ten years later, I now have an implant. I’m in the healing phase of the implant process right now so the journey isn’t over yet. Praying my body will heal well and that I can move onto getting a restoration soon! Against all odds, Dr. Vickers made it happen. He is by far one of the most skilled and knowledgeable oral surgeons in the area.

Starting with my initial consult, he clearly explained what I was looking at on my x-ray, explained the upcoming procedure, and answered all my questions. I received detailed printed instructions for pre- and post-op to refer to. The oral surgery went smoothly. I didn’t have much pain post-op and bleeding was less than I expected. Dr. Vickers personally called me the morning after surgery to see how I was doing and give me some additional information! I would highly recommend Dr. Vickers!

I went in for a consult with Dr. Makenzie Fortney about my wisdom tooth. I thought I had a long wait until their next available appointment. Her assistant did the X-rays, and we all looked them over and agreed, I needed to have my tooth pulled soon. She offered me a later appointment since I had eaten and couldn’t be sedated, or I could do it right then and there with local numbing. I have anxiety, so it was a tough decision, but she seemed kind and I just wanted to get it over with. I told her I’d go for it. Within 10 minutes, she started working, and about 10 minutes later, it was done. She was very sweet and caring, and she must have done something right because by that night, I was strangely just healed. I didn’t experience any pain beyond the actual numbing procedure and didn’t need any of the pain pills at all. I would highly recommend her, but don’t fill up her schedule too much because if I need anything again, I’m definitely going back.?

They saw me Tuesday and scheduled an extraction under a bridge, bone build up for 2 areas, and filing down the remaining stand alone crown. They got me in for the procedures in less than 24 hours! The office staff and nurse were excellent! Dr. Vickers explained my dental issues. He answered all of my questions with professionalism and kindness. He called the night he performed the surgery to see how I was feeling and answer any additional questions. (That's worth 10 stars to me!) I have no pain the morning after! I had my first surgery yesterday and it went just as the first video showed. There are two videos that are very informative. Pre and post operation really help you understand .Dr. Vickers and his staff are very kind even when you are very nervous he called me personally last night to see how i was doing. I knew I could trust him to take great care of my oral Dental needs. I’m 4 days post op right now and I’m doing great with 2 procedures behind me. Dr Vickers even called me himself the evening after my procedures, what Dr does that. I had 2 extractions (broken back tooth and broken side tooth) side tooth got a bone graft to prepare for implant after it heals. I have mild TMJ and have had no issues since my surgery. Update 12/20/24 Went in to have my implant does. Received the same excellent service that I received on my first service. Can’t put into adequate words how seeing Dr Vickers exceptional services and bedside manner has brought me to a place where I’m very comfortable having a procedure done by him, before my anxiety was through the roof. His staff is also wonderful and comforting to help me achieve his level of comfort. I’m one day post op and I’m pain I’m pain free. I know this isn’t the norm but I have the all the meds on hand if needed and I’m taking my Anabiotic And mouthwash has prescribed by Dr. Vickers. Dr. Vickers even called me Way to the airport last night to see how I was doing Highly recommend.

Leading up to the procedure I was very nervous as this is my only surgery done. Dr. Chan and his staff did an amazing job answering all my questions and guiding me through the surgical process. What really stood out to me was that Dr. Chan quoted “he would only do what I felt comfortable with” and from there I could tell I was in good hands. The day of the surgical procedure I was welcomed by the Flower Mound staff. They went over what they were planning to do and any last questions/concerns I might have. Next, I signed off my paperwork and was guided to the operating room. From that point everything is kind of a blur due to anesthesia but that’s a good thing for me (means the medicine worked). Currently I’m on day two of the recovery process. I have minimum pain (4/10). I would advise you to take prescribed medicine when directed and you will be fine. I’ve had follow up calls from Dr. Chan and the medical staff already. Again this shows the integrity of the business they run. They care for your wellbeing. Overall I would say with the help of Texas Center for Oral Surgery & Dental Implants my experience went from fearful to great. Thanks

I did my first procedure yesterday on my long journey. I had wisdom teeth removed and gum draft. My experience in Texas Center was wonderful Dr. Anver with his little fairy’s assistants did everything with no pain for me and in professional way. They took good care of me from beginning till the end of the surgery. Today is day after surgery I don’t have bleeding and don’t have pain just little soreness but that’s normal, I am recovering good. I have all my medications which doctor prescribed and following the instructions. One more excellent thing with Texas Center is that they accept my insurance and works through with my payments. I had an amazing experience with Dr. Anver last week. All the reviews did not disappoint. The office is nice and clean with relaxing and comfortable chairs and state of the art equipment. TCFOS&DI is very thorough, and crystal clear about pricing, treatment plans, follow-up steps, and ensuring no steps are missed (e.g. calling in prescription drug orders; follow-up appointments; written and video instructions, etc.). TCFOS&DI also has a very well-designed website, which includes informational articles, services provided, videos, instructions, online patient registration forms, appointment request forms, contacts, and a Chat interface. Dr. Aaron Vickers, DDS MD set up the treatment plan, and Dr. Stephen M. Chan, DDS MD performed the extraction and bone graft in preparation for a future implant for tooth#31 (at the office in Flower Mound, TX at 651 Cross Timbers Rd.#103 ; there are other offices in Denton and Frisco). Dr. Chan is my primary surgeon. I came in as an emergency for an infected tooth. Within 45 minutes of a call, they got me in and removed the tooth that appointment. I had complications due to the infection, and when Dr. Chan wasn’t available, Dr. Vickers was. Let me just say that you cannot go wrong with either option: they are both amazing at what they do and very professional. They make you feel comfortable with any procedure that is needed. P.s. I do NOT have dental insurance and they have worked with me every step of the way. 100/10 stars.

I had my wisdom teeth removed. Not only was the surgery quick and painless, but every single member of their staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. I never once felt uncomfortable or unwelcome. I cannot recommend them enough! EDIT: Post-surgery care from them isn’t so great. Left my post-op appointment in way more pain then I went in and was basically told to wait out the pain until it’s better. Ended up spitting up all over myself while they were rinsing out my socket and wasn’t even offered a napkin, just had to wipe it all on my pants while the assistant watched me and then walked away. (Also had to wait 50 minutes after my scheduled time for a 5 minute talk with the doctor. Dr. Chen was my original Dr and I still think he’s great. The other one, not so much.) Also, they tell you to call if you need anything, but when you call, you have to leave a message and they don’t get back to you until 5 hours later when I’ve already helped/figured things out myself. Had a great experience for the first appointment, not so great for the second. I still think they’re great, I assume I just had a bad visit and they were rushed.

My experience was extraordinary. Everyone I know who’s had implants and Dr. Vickers prepared me to expect a degree of discomfort after the procedure. I was given a prescription for hydrocodone, told to alternate ibuprofen and Tylenol starting before the numbing medication wore off and to have ice packs and a source of heat to help with any swelling. Well, I experienced none of the above, no pain and no swelling. I couldn’t think of or imagine a better outcome. From the day I first met Dr. Vickers and his staff I was comfortable and confident my procedure would be successful. What I didn’t anticipate was the painless result of an extraction and 2 implants. I’m delighted to give Dr. Vickers and his staff my highest recommendation.

Two weeks ago, my 16 year old son suffered from a unexpected complication from a supposed to be simple wisdom tooth removal procedure. The previous surgeon's team forgot to give the patient Post-op medication and care instruction, resulting in him excessive pain, swollen, and unclosable jaw. Scheduling is a breeze and the front office staff is incredible. My appointments always start on time. They are thorough and consultative, walking you through all options and explaining the merits and potential risks in a very digestible way. I always leave feeling informed and like I've made a well considered decision, and I know exactly what to expect every step of the way. Preoperative and postoperative procedures are where they really excel - everything is planned out and timed perfectly, from communication to care instructions to calling in prescriptions before your procedure. It's seamless and allows you to focus on recovery rather than the pharmacy logistics and recalling what you were and weren't supposed to do post-op. Best of all, Dr. Vickers always personally calls you the evening after your procedures to check on how you're doing, answer any questions, and offers his cell for any follow-ups. I've never felt more at ease in a clinical setting in my life, and I'm so grateful for all that Dr. Vickers and his staff have done to help me over the years! I had a tooth extraction and bone graft and an implant placed in two different sides of my mouth yesterday. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Vickers did a great job and after some rest, I have had little to no pain. I would definitely recommend this office.

Excellent staff! I think her name is Courtney in the Denton office is amazing. She talked to me like a real person not just a patient. She needs 100 stars! Dr. Dad is great also. Minus one star because they offer no in office financing and the prices were a little high. Care credit should not be the only option. I only met the oral surgeon for literally one minute but he performed the work perfectly though. I did pay almost $ 2000 for 35 minutes. Also they woke me up and walked me out immediately instead of recovery. The surgeon did call that night so he gets points for that, but I did have to ask why I was still numb 8.5 hours later. It was on the side where barely work was done. He did explain it had stronger numbing than the other side. I couldn’t eat or drink from a straw but needed to take medicine. Finally threw a smoothie down my throat and all over me. Would have preferred a little more pain than lost the ability to eat for 19 hours ( was still numb the next day). I barely slept because I kept biting my tongue and choking. Overall though good job.

My daughter had 4 wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Anver. During the pre-surgery consultation she was very nervous. Dr. Anver walked her through the process and put her at ease. The surgery was a success. Dr. Anver and his staff were outstanding! The entire organization is first class!

Losing my front tooth and finding out that I needed an implant was traumatic. Finding out the cost of the procedure was also very hard. I didn't think I was going to be able to afford it and would end up losing my gum tissue forever. Mrs. Stacie worked hard fitting me into an apt. the same day I called her and she helped me figure out my financial situation. She truly went above and beyond to help me. It was like I was her #1 priority. Dr. Anver and really all of the staff is just so truly nice and knowledgeable. It feels like people genuinely like working there. Love this place.

My previous dentist was skeezy and recommended unnecessary expensive and painful procedures, so I was deathly afraid to return to *anyone* ever. Dr. Vickers has been the ultimate ambassador for people in his profession, and he’s changed my life. He’s often recommended more inexpensive routes, even if he has to refer me outside of his office to get the work done. He operates with a high set of standards, and I can tell in every little detail of his work. Everything was pain free, and he was supremely fast. Also, he and his team did an excellent job dealing with my extreme fears. For two different procedures, different nurses held my hand while I was freaking out at the beginning. Now I’m not scared to make dental appts anymore and can resume paying attention to the health of my teeth, all because of this guy. They have empathy here, and are super honest and trustworthy. I hate needles but the nurse that did my IV was EXCELLENT..THE front desk and intake nurse were also so wonderful!!Dr Vickers prescribed me a strong pain medicine,high dose Advil, antibiotics and a oral rince..I have not even taken the strong pain med just Advil.. I own up to the fact I did not read the pre-op instructions until the night before surgery (oops). Was supposed to drink lots of water (wish that had said Coca Cola….cause that’s what I drank), was supposed to pick up prescriptions before surgery (hmmmm 0/2…ugh). Went and got prescriptions AFTER surgery and that’s when panic set in. I have a HIGH tolerance to pain but based on one of the meds, I was headed into painsville. Day one…didn’t use all the gauze pads given to me, numbness went away, tired a bit, not hungry. NOW I start reading the post-op instructions. Pain and swelling will max out on day 3. Well that’s weird. Day one was fine, day two was cleaning house, day 3 started sending stuff to charity (always get rid of stuff at beginning of year and turn every hanger around so I know which clothes I didn’t wear all year and I can get rid of….you’re welcome :). Day 4-7 nothing, nada. No bruising, no swelling, no pain. If it wasn’t for a coupla strings in my mouth I would not know I had surgery! Day 8, I’m allowed to use a straw. Having had 2 dry sockets in my life, I’m okay waiting till day 14, lol. Have never had general anesthesia like I was given. Amazing. The staff were incredible, Dr Anvers said “see ya in a few minutes” and I awoke an hour later and went home. I plan on keeping the rest of my teeth, but everyone who knows me, will hear of these wonderful people…. I truly wish there was some way to repay ya’ll. I got a month to think up a plan, lol.

I had my surgery at the Denton office. I was referred here by Shane Berger from Berger Dental. It was a great experience. My consultation was complimentary (I believe because it was virtual), and they worked with me on paying off my balance. The staff were all very polite and helpful. I got all of my wisdom teeth removed, as well a broken decayed tooth. The surgery was smooth and I was told only lasted 45 minutes. I was given thorough instructions on post operative processes, supplied the instruments for post op, and Dr. Vickers called me after my surgery to make sure I was okay. 10/10 would recommend.

I have to say how impressive I am with Dr.Anver and with ALL his staff starting with the Denton office and then going to his flower mound office they were outstanding!! I started out with such a phobia about dentists, he made me feel very comfortable and my anxiety was very high but his office staff helped me get Through all of that. If you have any doubts don’t worry Dr. Anver is wonderful and his staff is just as wonderful. I had to have eight teeth polled and posts pulling in and of course there is recovery time but they were awesome Dr. Anver called to check on me to make sure everything was OK and if I needed him to call him anytime.I don’t normally give five stars to anyone but, the way I feel about dentists especially!! Well Dr. Anver he would get 10 stars from me???

A very easy experience, caring and nice personality of all employees. Dr Vickers made me feel more relaxed than any other dentist I have been to. I had a Wisdom Tooth extraction done and it was a relaxed experience. Time seem to fly by before going home. And afterwards, at home to recover, there was very little pain in surgery area, and only a slight headache as the numbing wore off. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great dentist. Thank You for a great experience. He even called me that evening to check up on how I was feeling and that said a lot about caring for his patients.

Amazing experience! I have a huge fear of needles, but Dr.Anver and the lovely staff made me feel very comfortable. I have horrible rolling veins, but they got my IV in on the first try! He also numbed the area so I felt nothing. Surgery went very well. I'm healed up nicely. I had four wisdom teeth removed. If I ever had any issues, Dr.Anver and his team were always there to help. They are also great at answering any questions I had. The staff here are very caring and they made me feel at home. Before I went under anesthesia, the staff and Dr.Anver made sure I was comfortable. They explained thoroughly what was going to happen during the procedure and after. Dr.Anver called me that night to make sure I was ok. I had a some pain on my right wisdom tooth area, but Dr. Anver helped with that as well. Dr.Anver and the staff are amazing. I highly recommend you come here for any oral surgery!

First of all, I confirmed the great reviews in google are TRUE based on my personal experience. I had a tooth failed the root canal treatment and needed to be extracted & replaced with implant. My endodontics recommended me to find oral surgeon since the situation was quite complex. I was extremely nervous and felt unsure about the whole thing. I fortunately found Dr. Vickers and his team. Everyone in the clinic is so friendly, helpful and professional. Dr. Vickers explained the procedure very well with confidence. The consultation was very constructive and already blew away 95% of my fear and anxiety. I chose to receive the sedation and it was one of the BEST decisions I have ever made. The team is so caring and the equipments are super! The procedure took about 1 hour and no pain at all. I did not feel discomfort even after the procedure. They really treat patients with HEART , as simple as one can see from the post procedure note, which is well organized with most important information all highlighted. I got phone call from Dr. Vickers the night after the procedure to follow up with me and answer my questions. I highly recommend this clinic to everyone, especially who had unpleasant dental procedure experience before.

I have had many things done here since 2015 - from teeth being pulled to having 3 dental implants and this place is top notch. The nurses are sweet and hilarious. They help you relax if you are scared. Both surgeons are awesome and really care about your experience. For my implants they used IV sedation twilight sleep and it literally felt like 2 minutes had passed and the procedures were done. Also, if you are scared of implants, don't be. Out of all the procedures I've ever had done it is one of the most painless ones. I was able to still work from home that day and the next day I was pretty much back to normal.

Dr Vickers has done 3 procedures for me. Three implant posts and a bone graft. He and his staff have always been on-point and professional. They have wonderful, 3D dental technology for precise placement. I've been impressed how relatively pain-free these procedures have been and how well they have healed afterwards. I'll leave the 5 star review but must say I am not a fan of all of the texts and emails reminding me of my appointment. One, possibly two, is plenty. Especially when I've already confirmed the appointment.

No pain through any part of having a tooth implanted (and there are several parts to get from beginning to end). Pleased... happy...content... lucky... No, these words are not sufficient adjectives to express my gratitude for the pleasurable experience I had with Dr. Anver. To even come close I will say: Dr. Anver took a normal experience and made it into a phenomenal, extraordinary experience. I am eternally grateful! (I have always been scared of dentist, so this means a lot coming from me).

Referred to Dr Vickers by my Dentist to extract a tooth and do an implant. When I made the appointment they indicated it would be 3-4 weeks to see Dr Vickers but could get me in sooner with Dr Anvers. Since I was referred to Dr Vickers I told them I preferred to see him. They called a couple of weeks later and said they needed to reschedule (their office was going to be closed). No problem. It was another week delay. When I showed up for my appt, it was with Dr Anver. Since I had specifically requested Dr Vickers I let them know that would not be acceptable. They said they could reschedule with Dr Vickers but it would be another 3 weeks. Seemed like they were telling me i had to go to the back of the line to wait for Dr Vickers even though it was their mistake. In the meantime, I was left dealing with a bad tooth that made it difficult to chew. Didn't really seem like they had my best interest in mind so I chose to change providers.

Was referred to this practice for evaluation. After reviewing, looking at x-rays, and discussing, Dr Vickers referred me to an Endodontics specialist Dr Brown as he thought a redo of a root canal would solve the problem and save the tooth. He could of just pulled the tooth and started the process of doing a transplant. High remarks for a dentist who is more concerned about saving a tooth than making money. God bless for Dr. Vickers and his staff. I will return to this practice in the future if it becomes necessary for transplant. A++++

I can not say enough about Vickers & Associates Oral Surgery Center. My 90 year old mother has had the opportunity to be treated by both Dr. Aaron Vickers and Dr. Tamir Anvers. Their kind and welcoming staff make it easy and reassuring to schedule appointments and take care of business matters. We absolutely loved Dr. Vickers, but then needed to use Dr. Anvers and felt the same way. Both doctors are highly skilled, are extremely kind and patient with my elderly, hard of hearing mother. Their kindness, gentleness, and care for their patients is obvious from the beginning to the end. Mother's tooth extractions couldn't have been easier. She had no pain, no bruising, and no problems. Five stars just are not enough to adequately describe how much we love this practice!

My husband was in a jet ski accident and broke his eye socket and cheek bone. MCL’s ER sent the images to Dr. Anver and we met with him a few days later to discuss reconstructive surgery. We consulted with three other doctors as well due to some previous medical issues and in the end, we felt confident Dr. Anver was the best choice. It’s been 6 weeks now since the surgery and my husband’s face looks back to normal. The row of stitches around his eye is barely visible. Dr. Anver did an amazing job putting him back together. Debbie was assisting during the surgery and another lady whom i don't remember her name. The IV placement was pain free and they did the best they could talking to me and making me feel comfortable. Next thing i know i am waking up and walking out the door, I don't even have any bruising following the procedure.The instructions sent home are very helpful and through, Dr.Vickers even called me himself about 6:30 in the evening to follow up and make sure I was doing okay. Dr. Anver is a true asset to this practice. He goes far beyond what I had ever expected to encounter there. He's intelligent, genuine, knowledgeable and very talented. He effortlessly made me feel welcomed and comfortable- Which is amazing considering my rotting, abscessed, throbbing molar which was literally killing me. Our initial consultation was incredibly informative and we reached the best and surprisingly more affordable plan of action, all within minutes. He talked me out of being sedated, (which I had been truly adamant on), even though it lowered my bill $1000. The surgery itself was performed by him and his assistant Anber. Both are true professionals. 4 teeth removed total (2 molars and 1 broken at gumline), took less than 30 min and with virtually zero pain. Quick, efficient, friendly and professional... Couldn't have been better. This has to have been the absolute best experience I've had at ANY medically related facility or practice. I will rant, rave and recommend this place to everyone I know. We visited Dr Anvers today at the Flower Mound location. We were referred to him by the ER. My boyfriend has a sports related injury that includes a broken jaw, orbital fracture, broken cheek bone, broken nose on left side and several other areas on left side of face that are fractured. I cannot begin to describe the wonderful care we received. Cooper was amazing when I called and talked to her prior to the appointment. Wendy was so kind and never left our side. Dr Anvers displayed above and beyond care. He explained everything to us step by step, he showed us each broken bone and took his time with attention to detail as he provided details to us. He covered everything A-Z. In addition to his wonderful bedside manner, his kindness and compassion as a Dr went above and beyond after my boyfriend had a syncope episode that included some scary few seconds while he was in the room with us. Dr Anvers got us into another specialist immediately due to the trauma and severity of his fractures. He will be doing the surgery that is required and we are grateful for him and his staff. Everyone was so friendly in the office.

Looks like its my turn to write a positive review of Dr. Vickers and his office. I have gone to Dr. Vickers twice--once for an extraction of a single tooth, and again today for an extraction of FOUR more. The Doctor and his staff are all very friendly and professional. The first time I felt nothing and did not even know the procedure had begun by the time it was done. No pain at any time during or after surgery. Today was a bit different--I definitely was aware of the pressures, pulling, grinding, etc. and at one point I started to pray for it to end (LOL) but, in fairness, it was four wisdom teeth on a 42 yr old male, some of which were impacted and very tough to get out, and even so there was almost no pain at all during the whole procedure. It wasn't exactly fun, but if I ever find anyone that says it was a pleasure getting 4 wisdom teeth extracted, I would have to assume that Jesus himself did the procedure! I feel so strongly about Dr. Vickers that I want to reiterate that in no way do I intend for the above to be any criticism. Dr. Vickers is so good that he made something I was dreading virtually painless. I have rested in bed all day after the procedure and have taken the prescribed pain pills and have had virtually ZERO pain. I don't fully attribute that to the pills either, but to the Doctor's skill. Dr. Vickers is clearly a very skilled professional, and it helps that he is cool and friendly and caring. He even calls you the evening of your surgery to check on you. FIRST Doctor I have ever seen do that. I will go to him for any future needs requiring an oral surgeon, and I VERY highly recommend him to anyone needing oral surgery--from the simple to highly complex. Thanks, Dr. Vickers, and thanks to your nurses and staff.

Had my wisdom teeth extracted this morning, and Dr. Anver and his team gave me the absolute best experience I could have hoped for! I am a very high anxiety type of person, and was so worried all weekend before I went in. Came into the office just so extremely nervous, wanted to leave the waiting room at one point and just go home. My goodness, they made me feel so much better 10 seconds after calling me back to get started. I told Miss Wendy how scared I was and she made it her personal duty to bring me comfort and peace. She was just the best!! I explained my fear of needles and of being put under general anesthesia, and they accommodated my needs with all of that. They let me know how safe I was and answered all my questions without making me feel silly. One of the best parts for me personally; I couldn't feel the IV go in at all! After this it was smooth sailing in my mind. They were making jokes and talking all around me like we were on a walk in a park. So relaxed and calm, no stress in the room. They carefully explained everything that was happening, how closely they would be watching my vitals, and overall just completely took away all of my fears. I could tell Dr. Anver has done this a million times. The next thing I remember was waking up! Seriously couldn't have been more pleased with how everything went this morning. Was expecting the worst, and left feeling so great about it all! Dr. Anver, (and also Wendy) thank you so so much! Wish I could leave you 10 stars. You took my worst nightmare and turned it into something I would easily do again if need be.

As a National Truck Driver it was extremely difficult to schedule to have my 2 wisdom teeth pulled, my primary dentist is in Atl, Ga but I really had to have a oral surgeon to pull my wisdom tooth. I was in Denton, Texas for 5 days and really needed to find a oral surgeon I called 20/40 oral surgeons in the area and they were the 21st one I called and was able to get me in for an appt and accepted my dentist referral in Atl,Ga and they accepted my X-Rays and they worked with my dentist and I went in the office not knowing what to expect my father who took me was a nervous wreck along with myself of course because he had to drive me but needless to say they got me in and pulled my teeth the same day. The customer service was Awesome everybody was pleasant the oral surgeon made me feel so comfortable and was vey caring explained everything and even after everything was done, I received a follow up call from the oral surgeon just to make sure I was ok and if I had any issues to call back at any time. I was really concerned when it was time for me to go back on the road (work) wondering if all was healing and I text the oral surgeon at 2am in the morning when it was time for me to go back to work and he replied back and said he would be at another location which was in Flower Mound, Tx and I could come 1st thing or schedule appt to come in, once again they squeezed me in the office and oral surgeon checked me out made sure I was ok for my peace of mind before getting back to work. Now i know i just put all my business out here but I dont really write reviews but I feel if you receive outstanding service you should share it because your good experience could always help someone else out. I know for a fact if I need a tooth pulled they will be the first place I call and in fact I will be bringing my 2 boys from Atl, Ga that have to have wisdom teeth pulled as well, I felt just this comfortable with this office It is hard to find good doctors in general so I have a phenominal oral surgeon and going to continue to use them. Hopefully both of his offices read this review and if they do youll are AWEAOME SAUCE and keep up the wonderful smiles and outstanding customer service. Dr. Vickers and his staff are the best! I was nervous about having a tooth extracted but they made the entire process from start to end very comfortable for me. I have had multiple IVs and blood drawn in my lifetime and they always leave my arm bruised. Dr. Vickers put my IV in and you cannot even tell where it was. I had absolutely no pain following the procedure and Dr. Vickers even called me at home that night to check on me. I highly recommend his office.

Dr. Vickers and his staff were amazing. My son went in for his wisdom teeth and some minor surgery. He was really nervous but he later told me that it "wasn't so bad". The nurses went over the post-op treatment with me to make sure I understood everything to mitigate his pain. The icing on the cake was that Dr. Vickers called PERSONALLY that evening to check on my son from his personal number which they provided for me on the release paperwork. My son hardly needed any pain meds and has healed really well. So very very pleased with him and his staff!

Our daughter, Ashlyn, was referred to Dr. Vickers by a dentist. We were expecting a difficult extraction with one tooth; the other three being more normal. Dr. Vickers was fabulous in putting her at ease. His entire office had such a positive attitude every step of the way. Dr. Vickers looked at the x-ray and told her he did not see any problems to be concerned about. She went in for her referral meeting very concerned. She came out of the office feeling so much better about the whole process. They had talked her through what would be happening, sending us home with papers and directions and said that they would see her the next week. A positive environment makes such a difference! Now, not saying she was excited about the process of having four wisdom teeth removed but just a calm atmosphere was so helpful. Surgery took just minutes, the ladies that were with her were so kind. Wendy walked me through what steps we should be following for complete recovery. I was impressed that they told us to please call them with whatever questions or concerns we might have. Dr. Vickers tried to call her the first night to check on her. (She was sound asleep and never heard that call.) She texted him the next morning to let him know all was fine. I cannot say enough nice things about the experience we had! If you are scared or worry about visits such as this, Vickers and Associates is the right place for you!!

Very uncomfortable with an attempt to set an appointment. Options were some type of consult (not with the doctor) to get a ballpark figure or pre-pay $215 for appointment with the doctor. This gets you some sort of plan, however, zero work is done. Bottom line, you must pay to determine what needs to be done.

Sorry to hear that neither option was suitable for your situation. Dr. Vickers is proud to offer personalized care for each patient that enters our office. This requires significant time and expertise on his part as each patient has a unique situation and needs (which can affect the exact cost of care) and we do feel it is well worth your investment to find out what a true expert in the field recommends for you.

I am from Utah and was visiting my daughter in Lewisville. A screw fell out of my inplant. I got an appointment in a few hours here. I was so impressed because Cooper called my doctor in Utah to find out which implants I had. They didn't have the right tools, so they located one before I got there. Dr Vickers was wonderful and put it back in quickly. He even went above and beyond and sent the x-rays he took back to Utah. If you need implants I would go to him.

Dr Vickers and his staff are top notch. I went to have my wisdom teeth out as a 39 year old diabetic and with all of the potential complications they worked fast, diligent, and my level of pain was actually less when I left the office then when I came in. In my opinion, they are a role model in this space. Later that night, it was Dr. Vickers calling doing the follow up, which was even more impressive. I would recommend to anyone who needs an oral surgeon and this is where my family will go for this kind of work.

I heard that getting wisdom teeth extracted the older you get is harder to manage but I was pretty much good as new 2 days after surgery with little swelling and almost no pain. I just had a severely impacted wisdom tooth removed this morning that should have been extracted ages ago but I avoided it at all cost. The last oral surgeon I saw in NY basically said he wouldn't remove an impacted tooth like mine because it could completely damage a nerve responsible for feeling of my cheek, chin and tongue on that side. He told me to pray I never have to remove it. He completely scared me. 2 years later here I am ...tooth developed a huge cavity, infection- terrible pain for weeks and I finally worked up the nerve to see a surgeon. So happy I was referred to Dr.Vickers. Dr. Vickers is the best. He was confident from day 1 that removing my tooth would not be a problem and that I shouldn't worry. He was super kind and understanding and I trusted him from that first meeting. It's been a few hours since the extraction and I already have feeling in my chin,cheek and tongue. It was a quick procedure and I was so relieved at the end. The staff is amazing as well. Everyone in that office is super caring and friendly. You are in good hands if you decide to go here. You can trust them 100%.

Dr. Vickers was great! I was very nervous about getting my wisdom teeth taken out, and it was actually my THIRD consultation that I had gone to for the procedure (the other 2 times were with Dr. Holland). Dr. Vickers eased my nerves and made me feel confident that the procedure would go smoothly. The morning of my wisdom teeth extraction was very hectic, and when Dr. Vickers came into the procedure room and heard about my morning, he shared a similar personal story which made me feel like he really cared for me as a patient. In addition, he was leaving for vacation that afternoon, but still made sure I had his cell number and even called me that evening to make sure recovery was going smoothly. I most definitely recommend Dr. Vickers as a caring, professional oral surgeon.

From the moment I called the front desk staff for a consultation, they immediately made me feel welcome. The front desk staff was friendly and walked me through all of my financial options. Doctor Vickers was not only thorough in explaining all of my options but he was extremely personable unlike many doctors I have experienced. After my surgery he called later that day to ask if I had any questions about my surgery or after care instructions. I thought that was a very nice thing to do! In fact, he said he was going out of town, but that if I needed anything to give him a call. The staff and nurses the day of surgery eased all of my nervousness with genuine company, and laughter! They made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking for dental surgeries or procedures!!

I was amazed at the visit I had at Dr. Vickers office this week! I was a new patient and had a broken tooth that needed to come out. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get it done at my first appointment - I was afraid they would try and have me come back for a 2nd visit....but nope...Dr. Vickers was able to get it out and get me out the door in a little over an hour! NO pain or discomfort at all during the extraction and I was amazed when he really did call me that evening to check on me. His chair-side manner is terrific and his office staff is FANTASTIC! I have already told members of my family if they need a great oral surgeon that this is the place to go!

I had a recurring toothache that could not be figured out. So I was referred to Dr. Vickers. I was very pleased with his process, discovery, and recommendations. And how he ensured it was up to me to make the decision since he could not guarantee 100% that would fix my problem. This made it easy for me since he provided detailed options, with a touch of his opinion. The office staff is very pleasant and fun with a variety of personality. I definitely recommend Dr. Vickers and his staff. And the rest of the story: I opted for a wisdom tooth extraction since he was confident that it had something wrong since it failed some specific tests that he performed. It was near the area where I was experiencing the pain. Luckily he was immediately available to do the extraction. I was put on a local anesthetic and once the extraction started, it only took 10 minutes. Being 55+, I was a bit worried about the horror stories from adults getting their wisdom teeth taken out. But now 36 hours post-op, I have experienced 0 pain from the initial toothache and 0 pain from the extraction itself. Granted, I am on prescription strength ibuprofen (600mg) every 6 hours.

I just love this place. I I already have a phobia of being in any type of dental office. After dealing with my first surgery with Monarch Dental that failed I lost all hope that that my surgery would be a success because of the nightmare that I dealt with after a year of my canines being connected to gold chains the only thing that came down cement. And after being told by my orthodontist I don't think that your canine will come down let it be known I was 26th. I couldn't take no for an answer so I did some research and found Dr.Vicker office. And from the moment I walked into that office they were the nicest sweetest people ever. I told him the nightmare that I had with Monarch and they assured me they would do their best from the dental work to dealing with my insurance because I've already had the surgery fail. And guess what my canines are coming down even though Dr.Vicker said out of all the years of him doing this I was the hardest mouth he's ever worked on that comes to show how strong my teeth are I still had baby teeth in my late 20's... I took it as a compliment lol.. I remember 4 days post op I was still in a lot of pain so I texted him at 10 pm and he texted me right back and his office seen me bright and early the next morning.. granted one of my canines are moving slow and I might need an implant and one is almost completely out I'm grateful for this doctor and this office I just love them I have to visit to show them my process he would be so proud

DR. Vickers has taken over the practice of Dr. Peter Holland in Denton, Texas. The difference so far, is that no one answers the phones. The only option is to leave messages and hope that someone returns your call. This is not the way to build trust with a clientele in an office where people are used to friendliness and someone always answering the phone with a smile in her voice. Why would anyone wait for someone to call back to get an appointment? I won't. Not ever. I will tell everyone I know that they should look for someone else to perform their oral surgeries. Dr. Holland said that Dr. Vickers was not into oral surgery for the money and that he cares about helping patients. It is not looking too promising so far.
Amy, I actually typed you a personal letter this evening prior to seeing this review to apologize for the challenges you faced during the two weeks our office has been closed for the installation of our new phone system and other technology upgrades. Unfortunately, you were caught up in a situation where patients were being redirected to multiple different voicemail boxes, some of which we didn't realize even existed as a result of this install. During this time, the office was also closed and with the phones being worked on it was not possible for us to answer them. Customer service is a huge priority in my practice and I accept the ultimate responsibility.
