I recently had a fantastic experience here and wanted to share my appreciation. I recently lost a crown and there were some issues with my insurance so I thought I was going to have to leave, however Dr. Titensor would not let me leave without fixing my tooth because he knew it was more risky for me to leave without a crown replacement. We were able to work something out and he was able to do a permanent replacement crown within an hour! It was clear when I was there that the focus was on genuine care rather than pushing unnecessary treatments. It’s refreshing to find a dentist who prioritizes the patient’s well-being and is transparent about what’s truly necessary. Dr. Jackson is the best! My own dentist wouldn’t get me in to fix some cosmetic work. Nevermind I paid $50k+ for the work…they wouldn’t bother seeing me until after the weekend. I couldn’t eat or drink… Dr. Mann fixed me up. No pain during the procedure. 12 hours later, and I’m able to eat and drink w/o painkillers. Absolutely fantastic. I’ve switched dentists.

As a dental hygienist you would think I don’t need work on my own teeth but I do! That’s probably the reason I got into dentistry in the first place. I had a small broken piece off my tooth and was getting food stuck, I was flossing every time I ate something. Now I only have to floss once a day! Dr Jackson and Christina were amazing, made sure I was comfortable the whole appointment. The best part….not having to wear an uncomfortable temporary for weeks! My wife found and convinced me to visit Dr Titensor, specifically based on the fact that they offer sedation dentistry as an option. Apprehensively, I went, and have continued to return for the last 5 years. From day one, the Dr and all of the staff have been beyond compassionate, understanding and patient with me, and have consistently found ways to work with me to improve my dental health to a point I never imagined possible. He is up to date on all the latest dental technologies and techniques. He even teaches other dentists. His staff is fantastic!! The extra care they took made the difference. It felt like I was at a spa instead of a dentist's office—all around the best dentist experience I have ever had in my life. My dentist phobia is over. I opted for the sedation via a pill. My major issues were fixed while I slept. I don't remember a thing. When I woke up, my teeth issues were gone. He even managed to fix the tooth sensitivity around my gums. I didn't even know that was something that could be fixed. They will be my Dentist for life!

Heaven!!! Amazing!!! Have you ever heard someone say that about getting dental work? From the moment I walked into Titensor, I literally teared up from the relief of the phenomenal care I received, at the referral of my cousin, who has been a patient there for years. I drove almost an hour across town to try out Titensor. Prior to my visit, I had an unfortunate experience with another dental center. What was a simple crown procedure resulted in an infection and excruciating pain for 2 weeks. In a matter of a few hours, they cleaned up the mess that was the previous procedure, installed new permanent crowns made onsite, and have a plan for my dental health, that I'm actually looking forward to. From the moment you walk in, you are treated as a valued patient, listened to, cared for, with patience, kindness, and excellence. I didn't even recognize the crown prep procedure because it was so quick, painless, efficient, and they made the permanent crowns within 30 minutes. The equipment, the swabbing your mouth with mouthwash to counter icky tasting stuff that always comes with dental procedures, explanation of every step, and ease of the drilling and procedure while using various mouthguard and suction aids I hadn't seen before...I could go on and on...all focused on keeping you comfortable during the process. This family practice is state of the art in technology, thoroughness, and in care. I went from what felt like third world to first class. Rochelle, Grace, Dr Titnesor Sr, and Dr Bret, were all so kind, excellent, and efficient. Incredible. A++++ A thousand thanks, and I will be seeing you soon. You have a patient for life.

IMPLANT REVIEW My quest for excellent dentistry has been a lifelong venture. I have a congenital missing tooth and have had a bridge on my lower left for over 40 years. I knew I would need an implant soon and began looking for the best options. It’s been a 5 year investigation. I chose Titensor as a dentist 4 years ago for my dental office when I discovered the amount of lab equipment they had in office. They make crowns on site and do a lot of things other offices have to send out that take weeks to get back. This means a second visit for the patient and more time off work or otherwise. As I continued my research on implants, I soon realized that many dental offices, including cosmetic dentist, send you out to another doctor for the implant placement and then you go back to your dentist for the implant crown. It’s a lot of running around to offices and a doctor you’re not familiar with doing the most critical work. What I was impressed with at Titensor was that everything was done in their office from start to finish. The Doctor went over each step with me. Showed me X-rays and all of the technology they were using. The Dental assistant was also very helpful going over all the procedures and processes each step of the way. I am a patient that wants to know exactly how things are done and why and when and where. They never had an issue stopping to educate me along the way which gave me peace of mind. I have to say, I was a bit scared going in as most people don’t love dental work, but my experience was relaxing and I wish I would have done it sooner with this office. It was a piece of cake! As for the 6 month cleanings, I have always appreciated the professional atmosphere and friendly staff. I am happy to call this my dental home.

Every time I come to the office, they far exceed my expectations! Everyone is super nice, and they were able to do a beautiful job repairing a chip the had been dead center of my front teeth. It looks great and cost a fraction of what I expected. Also saved a back tooth from a root canal or extraction! Yay! And it cost much less than expected...double yay!!! Update May 25, 2021... Today, I went in to the office at 9:45 and came out at 11:15 with a perfect new crown! No temporary crown or additional appointments. I did nothing but sit and relax for 90 minutes! It almost felt wrong that getting a crown would be this easy! If you like fewer appointments, fast results, super friendly and kind people, and beautiful teeth, this is the place!

Best experience at a dental office. Dr Brett and the team were amazing! From the time I walked into the door I felt as though I was the only patient in the office. I heard from friends that Dr Brett Titensor was great at cosmetic dentistry. I needed to have a crown made, but one of my concerns was that I’d be expected to wear a “temporary crown” for weeks while the “permeant crown” was being made. Needless to say I was excited to hear that Dr Brett could make and put on my crown in the same visit. Dr Brett explained everything that was going to happen before he started. He was gentle and continued to communicate throughout the process. About 30 mins after he started Dr Brett was installing my new “permanent” crown! I am grateful that Dr Brett recommend, I will use Dr Brett Titensor for all my family’s dental needs.

Everyone I asked from Plano to Lewisville said if you've got a serious issue you need taken care of, Titensor is the best. A+ work if you ask me. I encountered some systems/billing issues with them at one point, apparently I fell through the cracks. They resolved the issue completely and demonstrated that every client, even past clients who have moved to other states, are important to them.

If you have ever had a painful or uncomfortable dental experience, please read this review in its entirety as this review is real, honest and factual. My dental health was forever impacted after my horse kicked me on the left-side of my face when I was 11 which started a never-ending cycle requiring extensive reparative and restorative dental work which constantly failed. After moving to Texas in 2005, I reached the point in my life whereby I was successful in business and life but still had ongoing dental issues. I started the referral process beginning with my prior dentists in California, Minnesota and New York City and asked them all one simple question: “If you were visiting in Argyle, TX and had a dental emergency, who would you call?” Consistently one name came up “Titensor” quickly followed by “Crown Council”. Since 2005, I have been a long-term patient of both Dr.’s Titensor (father and son) and have literally have had my entire mouth re-built through removal and replacement of all metal fillings, improperly seated crowns and veneers. In September 2019, 72 HOURS prior to boarding an international flight, I required a tooth extraction and bone grafting to support a dental implant. While I am a terrible nervous patient (who can at times be a big cry-baby!) -yet entirely due to Dr. Titensor’s EXEMPLARY SUPPORT and SKILL, he took the time to literally TALK ME THROUGH THE ENTIRE PROCESS STEP BY STEP of what he was doing. Throughout the procedure I experienced ZERO pain or discomfort. Knowing in advance I had an international flight to catch in 72 hours, he prescribed pain medication for any anticipated swelling and pain. After 7 days abroad, I returned for my follow-up appointment and returned a completely FULL bottle of pain medication as I did NOT require a single pain pill. FREE ADVICE: Never jeopardize your dental health by making the determination based on cost, instead make the decision based on long-term results. Your health and well-being depends on it. Front desk staff not wearing masks, all together in small space. Apparently they only wear masks when the customer comes in, not in between?! Whats the point then, only for appearances sake.They are playing Russian roulette with people and themselves. Titensor Dental is amazing. My visit is always lovely. The staff is wonderful. They're all very caring. I'm the one who doesn't like going to the dentist because I've always got a problem, like I need a crown or I need a crown replaced. Titensor makes your permanent crown right there while you wait. I got my teeth cleaned and a crown replaced and I was there for less than 2.5 hours and I was done...no need to come back in two weeks for another hour-long appointment. It's wonderful. Dentists who don't do this are barbaric in my opinion.

Cathy is my favorite hygienist and the best part of the experience at Titensor Dental. Overall, the staff is great. We and my husbands family all go to Titensor and have been patients for many, many years. However, the current front office and billing staff need to be reminded that they are in health care and should work on their empathy. I was diagnosed with breast cancer a couple years ago. Needless to say my husband and I had a lot of medical bills which made us get behind on a balance with Titensor. Instead of reaching out to us to see if everything was ok, the front office took a callous rapor with my husband. To make matters worse when my husband tried to explain our situation to the front office they said "well we weren't sure if your wife had died or something." Who says something like that?!?! I would just say small or big businesses need to remember that customers can make or break you by the interactions you have with them and how you make them feel.

Main Surgery has been completed, A lot of different procedures with IV Sedation was required. Staff was Excellent. Dr. Titensor should be the Head Coach of the Dallas Cowboy's. They would go to the Super Bowl Every year and WIN. You can see right away that He and his Son are very caring and compassionate men. The Staff is 10+ STARS. Everyone in the office is Great! I always avoided going to the dentist because the lack of comfort and it seemed to just be a paycheck for the dentist. What I mean is a lot of unnecessary Work I didn’t need, but when I tried Titensor dental that expectation changed. This office is always trying to sell you something. The entire staff is very "cheesy" and fake. Dr. Titensor (Senior) THINKS he knows it all. I do NOT recommend this office, especially for dental implants... they use CHEAP-O low grade implants.

this is a questionable practice. I have temped for them as an assistant and they seem to be very money focused. Be aware and possibly get a second opinion OR see the son for any treatment. The father is very rude and condescending to patients and staff. I do like that they support Smiles For Life.

Update on post: I had called the offices to have them check on what they filed for insurance without checking they immediately said it was correct. I asked they double check and get back with me which they never did...instead they sent to a collection agency. Pooooor service. I have been to several dentist offices and yes sometimes you do receive a bill for more but not over 200% of the original "estimate" amount. My previous dentist was in a high percentile for insurance and they were always very close on the estimates they quoted me. I really do question this dentists practices......beware. I'm not sure why this dentist is getting high marks. I have been a couple of times and yes they seem nice but the service is not that good. The estimates they tell you are always way off....you ending up getting a bill later for hundreds more. Plus I went for three fillings and they couldn't take the time to file them and when I asked for more it seemed to be a bother. Will not be back they only reason I changed dentists was that I moved and trying to find someone closer to home and I guess I need to keep looking. (Thank you for your response but I disagree with your handling of insurance.....standard of care )
Jane, We believe that we have a reliable history of estimating what insurance will cover. We feel this contributes to our high marks. All insurance policies are different, and it is unfortunate that your coverage does not have the same standard of care as this practice. We understand that it is upsetting to receive an additional invoice. We are always available to answer any administrative or clinical questions that you have.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff, but it felt like a visit to a timeshare. It was one long sales pitch. Dr. T tried to sell his services but really just ended up losing all credibility as a dentist and became a pushy sales guy. He literally said that it “didn’t matter” to them if I fixed my teeth or if they fell out. Well I’m sorry Dr. T. but I want a dentist who DOES care.
We take very seriously our responsibility to tell patients what is going on with their dental health and the consequences. The ultimate decision is always up to the patient. Our reputation has been built on care and trust and we sincerely apologize if this was not your experience.

WOW, WOW, WOW! This was the most amazing experience I have ever had. I had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted, at age 58, and was warned about the pain, swelling and bruising that i would incur. None of this has happened! I have zero pain, very minor bleeding and no swelling at all. 2024 Review update! The best experience ever!! We have been living in Samoa this past year and came home to visit for a week quick. Of course, the day before I leave, I break a tooth. Thank goodness we were still here in Tx and Dr Brett Titensor got me right in for an emergency crown. One hour later, I was walking out of Titensor dental with a new crown and ready to fly back to Samoa. No pain, so fast and fits perfectly! Everyone so friendly. Although I have not had any work done yet, I feel that Dr. Titensor is the dentist for me. I have a HUGE phobia/fear of going to the dentist and after years of going off and on naturally my mouth has succumbed to the lack of care. I never get a good feeling when I go see a dentist. I TRY to stay open minded and positive, but the experience is never good and I don't go back for years. I had very positive feelings from the initial phone call that I made ALL the way through the appointment. Dr. Titensor LISTENED to me. To my fears. To my concerns. He genuinely wanted to address my mouth issues as I wanted to; if possible. He was so kind and very assuring. The entire staff that I come in contact with walked me through everything, listened to me, did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable! I'm sure my next appoint will be in about 10-15 days. Although I am not really looking forward to it, I feel comfortable with the decision I have made to let Dr. Titensor and his staff take care of me.

I had a tooth that started causing a lot of pain, basically overnight. I called Titensor Dental as a new patient and they had me set up for 10 am the next day. Went in they diagnosed my tooth, gave me some different options. 2 hours later, I'm walking out with a root canal completed, a new permanent crown made on site and still have my real tooth. I always have the best experience at Dr. Titensor’s, because the staff works as a team to make you confident they are taking good care of you. They fixed my poorly done fillings with partial crowns so that my teeth look great and my bite feels normal again. I no longer have sensitivity in my teeth or odd gaps where food gets stuck. I don’t have to worry or fear going to the dentist, because I know I’m in good hands. Today, I had a panic attack while at the dentist in response to the epinephrine in the shot I was given. Loved my experience at this office! I needed a root canal on a tooth with an existing crown, which is the double-whammy nightmare of most dental patients. This scenario usually involves 2-3 office visits and sometimes a referral to a Endodontist. So my mind was blown when Dr. Titensor not only performed a quick and efficient root canal, he did this while my permanent crown was being made. I was in and out in 2 hours with a perfectly fitted permanent crown, no need for a return visit. Dr. Titensor runs his practice with his son, also known as Dr. Titensor, so I feel you get the best of both worlds... experienced expertise plus new and innovative technology.

I went into Titensor Dental today looking for a new dentist after moving in from Indiana. Finding a new office, especially in a new state can be very nerve racking. I went online and read all of the great reviews and decided to see for myself. The staff was all very professional and kind. I had a cleaning with one of their wonderful hygienists. They even used a machine that could take a 3D image to check out a spot where I have been missing a tooth for awhile. The machine was very quick and I could tell it was very advanced. It was much nicer than any machine I’ve ever seen. The assistants told me it was brand new cutting edge technology and they even have a 3D printer that goes along with it. I was blown away by the new things they have. I’m beyond excited to have found this office and can tell you first hand that the reviews are true.

I recently went to Titensor dental needing a tooth put back in. The office that fixed it the first time ran me in circles and kept giving me bogus charges or answers for why it wasn't being done. They even called my last office for me to find out what they had done after I told them I would rather not speak with them. Titensor' team took the time to do the research and get me a tooth with the original stuff my last office started with after waiting for over a year. I had two other offices tell me they would have to simply take everything out and start over meaning thousands of dollars I spent on this tooth would have been wasted along with a lot of time. First of all I have extremely high anxiety when going to the Dentist after having some major dental work when I was very young. The staff always makes sure I am as comfortable as possible. Everyone here is extraordinary pleasant, I actually ended up coming to this location for a second opinion on some dental work that was previously done. They were able to identify the issue quickly, explain it thourally ( without freaking me out ) and offer me several options for rectifying the issue. I didn't go to the dentist for over 10 years due to my anxiety, however with the staff at this location be so extraordinary, I am able to get my teeth cleaned on schedule without shaking to chair off the foundation. From the time you walk into the door to the time you walk out you are treated like a king/queen by all of the staff. Quickly about my story. Several years ago I was referred to Titensor by a friend. Dental health was not very important to me at that point. On my first visit I met Kathy. Kathy has a special place in my heart. Because of her I have the smile I do. It is hard for any other hygienist to live up to Kathy. She has taken an interest in my life and most importantly my smile. Since I met Kathy I can count the number of days on one hand that I have missed flossing. Overall a great impression has been left on me because of her. Titensor dental has surpassed any expectations I've ever had for dental care. On multiple occasions their staff has shown excellent customer service. One particular time, I had completely missed one of the two back to back cleaning and exam appointments for my young boys. Upon calling halfway into the appointment time, they invited me to come in and reassured me they would make it happen. I also happened to have an additional preschooler friend with me. Dr. Brett Titensor and his team were more than accommodating. Kathy immediately got to work and efficiently and thoroughly cleaned both boys teeth. I had the best experience at Titensor Dental! I haven't been to the dentist in years and haven't had a dentist I actually liked until now. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. After being in so much pain the previous night from a toothache, they were able to get me in the next morning to help get me out of pain and give me expert advice and some options. I was scheduled the very next day to finish the procedure. I never felt pressured and felt really taken care of. Logan was excellent helping me get scheduled asap and working with me to figure out a payment plan, as I don't have insurance. They made sure I was comfortable the whole time and have received multiple texts asking how I am doing after. I felt no pain during or after the procedures and am thankful for that! Dr. Brett did an outstanding job and Shelby did a wonderful job assisting, and was so sweet and made me feel very comfortable. Overall, great experience and I have definitely found a place to stay! First thing is who likes going to the dentist?. Right. But I have to say I've changed my mind. The moment you walk into the doors you are greeted by their friendly staff. They welcome you and make you feel very comfortable. Then going into the examination rooms they offer you a blanket and a pillow for your head. You also can get a paraffin wax for your hands. I never have to wait in the waiting room or for the dentist. Can't say enough about Dr T and his son Brett. I was diagnosed with oral cancer and went to them to get a tooth pulled before my surgery. Not a fun thing but knowing how experienced and caring they are made this horrifying time in my life more bearable. I've now been going there over a year now and I got my new implant recently. They prayed for me and even discounted my bill due to my situation. Who does that anymore?? I can't say enough. I refer everyone to them. My whole family goes now and I'm sending everyone I know that needs a GREAT dentist who actually really loves and cares for their patients. I give them a 10.

I have referred my mom and my co-worker who have both had just the same wonderful experience. If you are even a tad bid nervous about going to the dentist, Dr. Titensor and his team will make you feel at ease and right at home. Never thought I would ever say this, but it is a truly relaxing environment and I love coming to the dentist.

The dental hygienist always does a beautiful job cleaning my teeth and I've never had one bad experience here! Been coming to Dr. T (Steven, NOT HIS SON Brett) for over 7 years. Was in a motorcycle accident and had to have major dental reconstruction. Dr. T's expertise in knowing the length, color and type of veneers gave me a million dollar smile for much less. He is friendly and very well-trained. He knows dentistry! Kathy is my favorite hygienist - funny, professional, and skilled. She makes for quick and painless cleanings. And the front-office staff are wonderful to work with. They are knowledgeable and work hard to make sure your insurance pays what they say they will.

Our 4 year old son is all boy - play until you get hurt! And when he broke one of his front bottom teeth our dentist, I should say the dentist we had seen for years, informed us that they wouldn't be able to help our son 'this time' because he was too young, and referred us to another dentist office instead. Unfortunately, the referred office didn't consider our sons situation to be something of concern (if you had seen him you would have known otherwise) and proceeded to schedule an appointment for more than a week out. After several conversations with friends about the situation, and multiple referrals to the same dentist, we called Dr. Titensor's office, and within minutes we had an appointment first thing the next morning. Dr. Titensor's office is beautiful, his staff is amazingly professional (and empathetic), and Dr. Titensor is a magician with 4 year old broken teeth! I would, have, and will continue to refer friends and family to Dr. Titensor. It's nice to have someone who is willing to accommodate an urgent situation, despite being extremely busy already, when others won't. And it's even more comforting to know that they are not only accommodating, but also exceptionally competent as well. Our thanks and appreciation to Dr. Titensor and his amazing staff!

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Titensor for 15 years. We’ve always been very pleased with his service and work. We’ve had a little bit of everything in the way of dental work, including fillings, whitening, wisdom tooth removal, caps, bridges, and implants. We also appreciate his attention to detail. He always wants to make sure we’re happy with his work, and he also wants to make sure he’s happy with his work and that it looks good for us as patients. We always get compliments on how good our teeth and smile look. Dr. Titensor and his staff are always an extremely pleasant group to work with. They’re always smiling and it’s easy to see that everyone enjoys their job. It’s a great environment to be in, especially when it comes to seeing the dentist. They always make sure we’re comfortable and make sure the procedure is painless. We appreciate Dr. Titensor and his staff for always being so involved in the process. They always make sure we get reminder calls (and now emails or texts) to make sure we remember our appointments and each day after a visit, they call to follow up on the procedure and make sure we have all of the materials we need to care for our dental work. For a recent procedure, I was able to begin the oral sedation process before heading to the doctor’s office, which made the whole dental office process much faster and more convenient. I have used Dr. Titensor for all my dental needs for all these years and continue to be extremely pleased with the work he and his staff perform. I don’t plan to ever change and I refer him to everyone I know.

If you are looking for the best of the best in dentistry, this is the place for you. From the moment you arrive, you know that something is very different. You are greeted immediately, and rarely wait more than a minute or two to be taken back to your appointment. The office staff are exceptional, they take the time to assure that you are comfortable and all your questions are answered. They also take the time to review financial questions including discussing alternative options. Dr. Titensor has a calm and assuring nature that makes you know that he is focused on you and everything will be okay. I appreciated his consultative style. I knew he is thinking about what would be the best option for my unique dental concerns and that of my family. I know that for certain, because following one of my appointments, he asked me if I had a minute to discuss my daughters dental problem, he had been thinking about options that would best suit her long term. What a surprise! My own personal fear of going to the dentist office, is gone. To help me overcome my fear, I selected oral sedation. The experience was so positive, I asked about getting long overdue work scheduled. My family and I are grateful we finally found a dentist office that provides a warm atmosphere, amazing people, and top rate dental care.

Dr. Titensor finally gave me the Hollywood smile I have wanted my entire life. Not only was it PAINLESS I felt like I was at the spa, starting from the ambiance as well as the parafin wax on my hands... so far I am in awe that I am being treated so well, at the end of my appointment I was given a towelette to help me feel refreshed. Dr. Titensor's team was so helpful and all seemed to be so happy helping me. I always knew what was going on starting with my finances and ending with my treatment. I don't know about you but I loved the fact they always remember me when I came back for my appointments.
